Incident/Offense Reports can be obtained through the Franklin County Criminal Justice Portal.

Traffic Crash Reports can be obtained through the Ohio Department of Public Safety Website. 

The most convenient way to search for the desired report on either Website is to have your Report Number.  To obtain the number: Call the Police Department at 614-885-5115, press 1 when prompted.  Ask person answering the phone for the Report Number and if the report is available.  You will need to provide the following information:

1. The type of report you are requesting; Incident/Offense or Traffic Crash.
2. Name of person who made the report.
3. Location or address of incident/offense or traffic crash.
4. Date and time of incident/offense or traffic crash.

Please follow the instructions below if you wish to obtain a copy of either type of report!!!

INCIDENT/OFFENSE REPORTS:

The most convenient way to access an Incident/Offense Report is on-line through the Franklin County Criminal Justice Portal.  You must use Internet Explorer browser to access the reports.  To open the report, you must have Adobe Reader software on your computer.  See bottom of page for a free download.

Simply follow the instructions below to obtain a copy of an Incident/Offense report on-line.  Click on the following web address. https://justice.franklincountyohio.gov

• Type in user name: sharonreports
• Type in password: Fall2019$ (Password changed every 6 months)
• In the left-hand column, click: Report Center
• In the drop-down, click: Advanced Search
• In the drop-down box Address-Beat, click the drop-down arrow to Report Number.
• The first box to the right will have an = sign, in the next box to the right; enter the report number (Numbers only) then click Search. (Search will take a few seconds)
• In the Search Results, click on the requested report number.

This will pull up the requested report in Adobe Reader which can be downloaded and printed.  If you have problems, please contact the office at 614-885-5115, Mon. – Fri. 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

TRAFFIC CRASH REPORTS:

The most convenient way to access a Traffic Crash Report is on-line through the State of Ohio Department of Public Safety Website; https://ohtrafficdata.dps.ohio.gov/crashretrieval

Provide the requested information:

1. Report (Crash) Number if you have it,

or use the Advanced Options and provide:

2. Crash start and end dates,
3. The name of the county the crash occurred in
4. Name of law enforcement agency who wrote the reports
5. Your last name.

Two others ways to obtain a copy of an Incident/Offense Report or Traffic Crash Report:

1. Call the Sharon Township Police Dept. at 614-885-5115, press 1 and ask if your report is available and make arrangements to pick-up a copy. Reports can be picked up at the Police Department Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.   The office is not open on weekends or holidays.  We DO NOT send reports by e-mail or fax.
2. Mail a stamped, self-addressed envelope to: Sharon Township Police Department, 95 E. Wilson Bridge Road, Worthington, Ohio 43085.

• State what type of report you are requesting; Incident/Offense or Traffic Crash.
• For an Incident/Offense Report, please include name and address of reporting person or incident, and the Report Number.
• For a Traffic Crash Report, please include name of driver involved in the crash, date and time of crash, location of crash, and Report Number.
• If you were not provided a Report Number, call the Sharon Township Police Department, during the days and times listed above, at 614-885-5115; press 1 when requested by the voice prompter.
